Sam Ervin delivers an address at a lecturnA visit to the Senator Sam J. Ervin Jr. Library and Museum presents a wonderful opportunity for students to explore the Watergate Era of American history and learn more about one of North Carolina’s favorite sons, Senator Sam Ervin. Classes can examine a variety of artifacts from the Senator’s personal possessions, along with learning more about the momentous events in which he was involved.

Library staff are available to provide programs and tours along with assisting students in finding materials for projects concerning the Senator and Watergate. All we ask is that you Contact Us and provide details about when you would like to visit and what you would like to cover while here. Tours may also be arranged by contacting the Phifer Learning Resources center at 828.448.6195 Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
