Welcome!  We are happy to assist you in planning your visit.  Since its founding in 1990, the Senator Sam J. Ervin Jr. Library and Museum has welcomed visitors from around the nation.  The museum houses an exact replica of the Senator's Morganton home library and artifacts from the Senator's collection of personal and political memorabilia.
It provides scholars and students with a wide range of resource information on the life of Senator Sam, the U.S. Constitution and political history with emphasis on the Watergate Era.
